Over the past decade, artificial intelligence (AI) has made significant advancements in the medical field, gradually expanding its applications across various clinical workflows, including diagnosis, prognosis prediction, and treatment planning. Unlike other fields, the medical sector exhibits unique characteristics because AI is primarily utilized by healthcare professionals. Additionally, challenges associated with data use such as uncertainty, privacy concerns, bias, and limited availability have been studied alongside potential solutions. As we enter the era of large-scale AI, this discussion aims to explore how AI will continue to evolve and be applied within the medical field.
